Paul and Cristiane say I do~

February 12th brought a joyous Sunday afternoon wedding uniting Cristiane and Paul under sweeping oak trees. On the morning of the wedding the weather was a little chilly, but nevertheless a nice sunny day. The ceremony and reception was held at the Verandah Country Club which is a great venue! The scenery abounds with that "old Florida feel" that I love! I kept telling Cris how much I loved the oak trees with all of the moss...it really is a great area for photography.

Cris' Mom and Aunt helped her get ready before the ceremony. I know Cris was so overjoyed that they were there; as they made the trip from Brazil to celebrate this day with her and Paul! 

 So....every bride has her "thing" that she loves. That one thing that she HAD TO HAVE on her wedding day. Cris' happened to be her boots! She LOVED her boots and was not only excited to show me, but Paul and all of their guests. She truly has a smile that lights up the room- doesn't she?

Cristiane daughter and close friends accompanied her during the ceremony as they said their vows....

And then I got to capture some amazing moments with Paul and Cristiane. Like this one.

These are just a few of many that I captured with so much love on their wedding day. Paul and Cristiane have a fantastic sense of humor and sense of hospitaity. They are both kind and know how to have fun. It was truly an honor and a priveledge to be apart of their big day! Thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart~ Renee

Here we are once again in a new year! Happy 2012. I know, this post is a little late- but I've been doing my very favorite thing...photographing beautiful families! Last weekend I had the great privilege to do a maternity shoot with the Valones {see below}, then also photographed 2 separate newborn shoots in 2 days! Those will come later... At any rate, I love being able to see the dynamics of mom's and dad's and little ones; it really is a beautiful thing.

Thankfulness.

I have been blessed with some really great shooting opportunities lately. Although I have been a busy little bee, I have loved meeting up with every single person and getting to photograph them! My month started out with a lovely little family photo-shoot in the park. Then I went on to do a beautiful boudoir session! Most recently I was invited to partake in an evening with Culinary Rocker Johnny Ciao (Go ahead, check his website out!). He is an extraordinary man!! He has been a chef for many stars and musicians and couldn't be more humble and intriguing. The event was held at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Ft. Myers. All the proceeds that were raised for the night are going to the art center- which is a historical landmark to this community. It was a privilege to spend the evening at the event, and I even got to donate a portrait package in their silent auction to help raise money! It was truly a great experience.

Moving right along~ The day before Thanksgiving I met up with Britney and Chad downtown for their Engagement session. We had a wonderful morning talking about wedding plans, how they met (they're high school sweethearts) {love} and laughing with Chad climbing trees. I am ecstatic about sharing their wedding day with them! I know it be a great day full of their family and all of the love that they have for each other. They rock! Fall Family Photos

It's officially fall, which means it's officially my favorite time of year. 
Speaking of favorites...we met up today with Jen, Matt and little Willa at the park. The morning was nothing short of laughter and love with this family whom I just adore!

1-2-3- Triplets

Apparently, I have been attracting multiples lately...and I love it! I met up with the triplets and their parents at a park in Davie, Fl. It was rainy all day, but cleared up in the afternoon for this shoot. The kids had us all laughing, and it was a pleasure to be apart of their family- if only for an hour! Here are just a few from the shoot.

Expecting. Not 2 feet, but 4.

I met Milina a few months ago, as she was a bridesmaid for her friend Stacey's wedding {see March post}. Now her and her husband, Preston are expecting...Twins! We met at a park in Punta Gorda- where they were married. We were blessed with beautiful weather and a great setting. These two are such a sweet couple- and I am so elated for them to be parents. I am truly looking forward to capturing the twins when they arrive in a few months.
